Curriculum:

We will be reading:

  • I'rab al-Quran wa Bayanuh by Muhy al-Din Darwesh (Grammar of the Quran)
  • Available here

The objective of the course is to read Arabic literature as we prepare students to eventually be able to read Arabic without the vowels (harakaat).

Course length:

There are 15 hours worth of content, divided into 10 lessons.  

Prerequisites:

Two pre-requisites:

  • Ability to read the Quran 
  • Completion of Literature: 1, or equivalent

What comes after Literature: 2?

Literature: 3

In this course, we will further improve our Arabic reading and practice reading a commentary of the Quran in Arabic
