Arabic Literature: Level 2

Continue with Arabic Literature studies with a focus on the I'rab al-Quran - the Grammar of the Quran.


This is a LIVE course that will take place over ten sessions on Tuesdays at 4-5:30pm PST (USA Time).

We will be reading:

  • I'rab al-Quran wa Bayanuh by Muhy al-Din Darwesh (Grammar of the Quran)

The objective of the course is to read Arabic literature as we prepare students to eventually be able to read Arabic without the vowels (harakaat).


Put everything you learn into practice!

You will be assigned chapters for at-home reading and review every week.


Materials required:

  • A notebook and pen
  • An internet connection
  • A computer / phone / tablet, with a working speaker

Students receive:

  • Every recording of the live sessions
  • Whatsapp group to ask questions any time

What can I do after this?

The goal of the Arabic Literature track is to be reading tafsir (Quran Commentary) by Summer 2021. 

In Arabic Literature 3 we will begin with an easy to read tafsir in Summer 2021.
